a week or more

  • Gaspésie + Île de la Madelaine. Both are bucket list places to visit for me. Gaspésie has a wonderful national park with several lovely intermediate loops, the seafood is great, and the views from Île de la Madelaine are supposedly unlike anything else in Canada.

    My bag is already packed.

  • Japan is calling me, and has been calling me for years! The food! The hot springs! The powder! Just say “jump!” and I’ll immediately ask how high.

Ideally we do Rusutsu and Niseko one year and Happo One with either 47 or Iwatake Snow Field the following year. Wink, wink! Nudge, nudge!

I have time for this trip in January. Feb/March ski trips of this length are spoken for.

  • Spas and pizzas in Italy! Need I say more?

two to four days

  • All 230km of le P’tit train du Nord

My gravel bike is collecting dust. Lets change that, shall we?

  • Alpine

I typically ski Tremblant but once a year I love going the extra few kms to go to le Massif. We could head to Quebec (or meet there) have dinner and turn in for the night. Next morning we head out first thing, ski until we want to do an other activity, check into one of those domes that let us look at the stars from our bed, and play house. The next day could be a chill day in Baie St Paul or an other ski day.

    XC ski

Corridor aerobique? Oh yes, let’s do it! The shower afterwards will be great in more ways than one. We can go to Baumier for dinner. The chef there has been an enthusiast for baking and desserts and her desserts are well worth a detour any day! The next day we could do a portion of le P’tit Train du Nord and stay near Saint Marguerite and eat at La Belle Histoire. I haven’t been yet and I’m very much looking forward to trying that place out.

  • The High Acre

I've been wanting to go to this stunning place for years now. There's lovely common areas and each of the four rooms has its own sauna and steam bath! After a thermal circuit we will be able to sip Champagne in our robes as we snuggle and read in our comfy bed.

There are so many great restaurants in this city and new ones pop up regularly. Send me an love note and I’ll curate a list just for us based on our availability and tastes.
